QUEZON CITY — Math teachers and coordinators from various Quezon City schools gathered for MathTinik 2026 on August 22, 2026, at Starland International School, Kamias Road, Quezon City.

With the theme “Empowering Teachers, Shaping the Future of Education,” the event highlighted the important role of educators in making Mathematics more engaging, meaningful, and accessible to learners.

The event featured Mr. Virgilio “Ike” Y. Prudente, Founder and Director of Math-INIC Philippines, who shared valuable insights and approaches to Mathematics education. Participants, particularly Mathematics teachers and coordinators, warmly received his talk and took away fresh ideas to strengthen classroom instruction and inspire students.

MathTinik 2026 also provided educators with an opportunity to learn, connect, and renew their commitment to improving mathematics education. The event emphasized that empowering teachers today is an important step toward developing confident, critical-thinking, and future-ready learners.

Through initiatives such as MathTinik, educators are reminded that shaping the future of education begins in the classroom—with teachers who keep learning, innovating, and inspiring.
